My name is Aaron and I am graduating from TAFE next year as a Library Tech.
My previous background was with Internet call centres and Hospitality, so this is my third career change :)
I have been working at Murdoch for about a year and a half now but have begun my DocDel role within the last couple of months.
Being fairly new to the role, I'm still a bit bleary eyed to the whole VDX system and coming from an IT background, some of the tech seems strangely laid out to me.
I hope the blog becomes useful but as with all new technologies, things must be tested and the process gets quite organic.
As our loveable Lucy is bailing for the land of chocolate, it seems that I will probably be doing a fair bit on the blog so please by all means send me anything that you want\hate, like\dislike and I will see what we can add or remove to make it relevant.

Just what I was going to say Amanda. You guys have done such a swell job with pimping the blog - even a feedburner scrolling headline. My friend Peta has embedded the scrolling headline from her blog into her email signature.
It really makes me feel like I'd be OK asking you about docdel stuff if I was at another institution - you all seem friendly and human from your introductions.
